We are Tomfoolery, an improv comedy troupe at Morristown High School. We are a branch of the high school's International
Thespian Society. The group was founded this year by Nina Hausner (the organization's president) and Michael Maguire
(the vice president). Tomfoolery is a select group. After having auditions, many, unfortunately were cut and we
were left with a very telented group of 12 individuals who are actors. In addition, we have a stage manager and a house
manager.
Tomfoolery just had its first performance on Thursday, January 19th! It was extremely successful and lots of fun.
We heard many great comments about how much the audience loved it and couldn't stop laughing. I hope that everyone will
be able to make it to our next performance. When that performance will be... we're not sure yet. But, we will
post the date just as soon as we know.
Tomfoolery has fun practices once or twice a week, where we play improv games like the ones you see on the show Whose
Line is it Anyway? We have a great time playing the games and writing skits that we perform at our shows.
The shows are a mix of loosely planned skits and completely improved games. ALL of the ticket proceeds of our performances
go directly to the National Leukemia/Lymphoma Cancer Society, where they will use the money for cancer treatment and research.
We would like to thank all of the people who attended out first show, made the show such a success, and provided
the money which we donated.
